The following notice has been issued by the manufacturer:
Nokia is announcing a product advisory for the European and UK variant of the AC-300 charger, which is used exclusively with the Lumia 2520 tablet. Consumers are strongly advised to suspend use of the charger until further notice. Also, consumers who purchased the Lumia 2520 travel charger accessory are strongly advised to suspend use of the travel charger accessory.
During an internal quality control process, Nokia identified a potential product quality issue that may potentially lead to a safety concern with certain AC-300 chargers, manufactured by a third-party supplier. Under certain conditions, the plastic cover of the charger’s exchangeable plug could come loose and separate. If loose and separated, certain internal components may cause an electric shock if touched while the plug remains in the live socket.
The AC-300 charger is exclusively designed to be used with Nokia Lumia 2520 tablet. All other Nokia chargers can be used in a normal manner.
If you have an AC-300 charger and would like to receive more information as it becomes available, please send us your details using this form:

How do I find the IMEI number of my Lumia 2520?
The IMEI number is used to uniquely identify phones and tablets within the mobile network. You may also need to give this number to Nokia Care services.
To find the IMEI, then simply:
1. Swipe in from the right to open the charms.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Change PC settings > Network.
4. Select the name of your broadband connection.
Note: If you do not have a SIM card in the unit, the name of the Mobile broadband connection will be ‘Unnamed‘.
You may also see the IMEI number in small print when you remove the sim / memory card tray. The number should be visible once the tray cover has been removed.
