Crompton Lamps Ltd is notifying the public that we have announced a voluntary recall of the following product. Consumers should stop using the products immediately.
Name of Product: Crompton Lamps Ltd LED Dimmable GLS Opal 14W Warm White ES-E27, product code LGES14WW-DIM with manufacturing date code 3214.

Manufacturer: Crompton Lamps Ltd
Fault: A wire in the lamp’s housing can be faulty and poses the risk of electrifying the lamp’s casing posing a low-voltage shock risk.

Affected Models: This recall involves Crompton Lamps Ltd LED Dimmable GLS Opal 14W Warm White with an ES-E27 screw cap. The lamps are white in colour with a cast metal casing and plastic diffuser. The lamps are stamped around the rim of the casing with ‘CROMPTON LAMPS LGES14WWDIM 14W 100mA 240V 50Hz 3000K Warm White 3214′.
Identification: The model number is ‘LGES14WW-DIM’ and the affected batch code is ‘3214’. These marks can be found stamped onto the rim of the lamp’s casing
Sold By: These products were sold by Crompton Lamps Ltd only to professional electrical wholesale supply distributors in the UK.
