Tesco have issued the following recall notice:
MV Sports and Leisure Ltd is recalling 3 of its Sit ‘n’ Scoot range on a precautionary basis as the push button mechanism which converts the 2 in 1 Sit & Scoot from a ride on to an upright scooter could pose a potential finger entrapment hazard for small children.
On the affected products there is a sticker underneath the base plate of the scooter which shows the M.V Sports & Leisure Limited name and address and a product code. The product code must match one of the three given below:
Peppa Pig Sit ‘n’ Scoot – Product code: M14107
Thomas & Friends Sit ‘n’ Scoot – Product code: M14109
Disney Princess Sit ‘n’ Scoot – Product code: M14106
What you should do:
We ask that you please stop using the product immediately and return the product to your nearest Tesco store (excluding Tesco Express stores). If you have purchased any of these products as gifts, please contact the recipient and ask them to return the item to a Tesco store.
