Aldi Stores is recalling all batch codes of own brand Today’s Special Frozen Beef Lasagne and Today’s Special Frozen Spaghetti Bolognese due to finding horse meat in some samples.
Aldi Stores’ own testing has confirmed that the meat content of some of its beef lasagne products and beef bolognese products contain between 30% and 100% horse meat.

If you have bought either of the above products, please do not eat it, but contact Aldi Stores direct for a full refund.
Aldi Stores is recalling all affected batches from consumers. A customer information notice is being placed in the national newspapers and point-of-sale notices displayed in all stores.The notice explains the reason for the recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected product.
No other Aldi Stores products are known to be affected.
