Recall: Dimplex Portable Dehumidifier sold at Tesco

Dimplex Portable Dehumidifier – DXDH10N

Dimplex has identified a safety issue affecting a batch of portable dehumidifiers. A component on the printed circuit board may overheat, resulting in the product catching fire.

The serial number of affected products starts with 0, 1, or 2 for example: 05000428.

Serial numbers can be located on the product rating plate. This is accessible by removing the water tank.

No other Dimplex products are known to be affected.

What you should do:

Please stop using this product immediately by switching it off at the mains socket and unplugging it.

Please call the Dimplex helpine on 0800 028 53 86 to arrange a replacement.

Alternatively, customers can return affected products to any Tesco Superstore or Extra store where a full refund will be given. Please bring a copy of your receipt or recall letter. (Tesco customers who purchased this product will receive a recall letter in the post).
